Currently looking for Concrete Workers for a well-known civil construction company. Interested candidates should have 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training and have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and concrete form construction.
Maintains and repairs property and facilities in multiple Nature Preserve sites. Including the Nature Preserve at Charlie's Pasture, Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center, Joan & Scott Holt Paradise Pond, the Wetland Park and Nature Preserve Headquarters. Clean, maintain and repair all hike and bike trails, facility entrances, boardwalks, driveways, pavilions, restrooms, signage, gardens, vehicles, tools and equipment. Operate equipment such as a blower, trimmers, chain saws, pole saws, mowers, tractors, chippers, shredders, power tools, hand tools, backpack sprayers, etc. Remove leaves and debris, empties trash and recycling bin and cleans grounds. Assist in controlled burns, invasive species removal and wildlife management. Follow and enforce safety measures.
Assist with maintenance of county roads, buildings and grounds.
This position performs specialized duties in support of city accounting and financial reporting functions due to increase work load with Hurricane Harvey.
Will work with city employee(s) mitigating storm related damage in all city owned buildings, public areas and roads & bridges
Temporary employee to assist with clean up damages in Precinct #1 caused by Hurricane Harvey, especially on county roads, parks and precinct work yard.
This position will assist the Floodplain Administrator in the day-to-day business of the the County's development permitting functions. It is administrative in nature and will require and understanding of basis office software programs, the ability to provide excellent customer service to the public via phone, email and in person. The primary duties are to receive and return phone calls with customer inquiries and advise them of the proper documentation needed for the permitting process, to scan and index permitting related materials and records, and maintain the schedule for permitting appointments with the Floodplain Administrator.
Assist with maintenance of city public areas, parks, pier, city buildings and other public works.
The Maintenance Technician is well-rounded and provides preventative maintenance and repairs to all areas of the facility, specifically dry wall, paint, and texture. As well as exterior, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical systems, floors, walls and furniture.
